Chapter 1 Due Friday
“Hi. My name is Jem. To be precise, Jem Elda Misty. My sisters are Lucy, Peace, Hope, Jasmine, D.J., and M.J. Misty. My brothers are P.J., Brady and Bradley Misty.”
So anyway we had just got my kitten. She was very cute. I was playing with my kitten, Antarctica. I put her in her own bed in my room. I went to bed. When I woke up, she was not there!! I checked all over my room, the kitchen, basement, bathroom, up stairs, downstairs, and living room. She was nowhere. I saw the drawer.

“Nothing is in it,” said Bradley.
    “Ya, Jem,” said D.J.
“Well, Antarctica might be in there,” She checked for her. Goodness, she was in there!
They played and played. Then to her dismay, she forgot today was Saturday. I was going to camp. Jem was not happy to see she was going away when Antarctica was home alone.
“What if she got lost or got out of the house and I never see her again? Oh no!” I said.
“That’s ok, she will be fine,” said mom.
P.J. said, “Ahhh, you scare me, Jem.”
    I said, “Why?”
P.J. said, “Because you worry about everything.”
“NO!!” I said. “Oh no, the TV, turn on. Oh no, you’re said. Oh no, the plant is dead. Oh no, my toy is gone. Oh no, I won’t survive.”
“See what I mean?” P.J. said.
    “Fine,” I agreed.
“Humphhh,” said mean, cruel, awful, despicable, greedy, selfish, annoying, unthoughtful P.J.
“Good-bye Antarctica. Hope you survive without me.” This was weird. Antarctica talked to me.
“I may not survive without you, but I will try. Have fun in camp!”
“Thanks, Antarctica,” I said. Brady came up to me.
“Hey, talking to your cat. Oh wait, is that your imaginary friend?”
“NO. Stop making fun of me. Everyone!! All ten of you!”
    My mom said, “Actually!!”
    “How?” I said.
     “I’m pregnant.”
    “Oh,” I said.
    “OMG you’re pregnant?”
    “Yes.”
She fainted. When she was in her faint … they took her and put her in the 4 out of 3 trucks. When she woke up, she was mad.
“You didn’t even let me say good-bye to Antarctica!”
“Remember, you did before you fainted.”
    “Oh ya. Thanks.”
Chapter 2 Finally at Camp
When we got to camp I – was – scared. I was like … “Mom seriously camp I – was – scared.”
“About that, that’s just part of the name. It is actually called I – was – scared – when – my – mom – was – gone.”
    “What does that mean?”
“It means you and 10 siblings for a week and 11 for 2 weeks is … is … my mom fell to the ground. I did not know what to do so I took her and put her on the back of the truck. I pushed the pedal to the floor. I thought I was a goner since I was driving but I ended up surviving. My brothers and sisters were there. They turned into frogs. So did my cat.
So if we go to chapter 1 and 2, my life is cruel but be prepared to see crueler!!!
Chapter 3 Lost
So my cat was a frog. My family was a frog. My mom was not though. Mom and I took them to the doctors. They said it was probably a witch who did a spell or something like that. I got home. My cat was a cat. My siblings were siblings. My dad was a dad. I went to a friend’s house. When I got back, Antarctica was not home. Everyone else was at the movies. Oh no, mom’s back … she said if I don’t get my cat by Friday, I will get a new cat. I wanted the cat I already have.
    “No daughter. That’s final.”
Chapter 4 Found
I searched for 5 days. Tomorrow I probably will get a new kitten.
I see an orange cat. “Oh, oh, oh, Antarctica cat. My baby I love you.”
Mom said, “Congratulations. Here’s your same kitten.
