Once upon a time in a village in Italy called Pizza Pia Village, a chef working for a king was making King Spaghetti some spaghetti. The chef worked very hard. He had to make four meals a day, one at morning, one at noon, and another at sunset. He also made a midnight snack for King Spaghetti.

But unlike any other king, he liked treating his workers nicely. He fed them greatly and more than enough. He was also friends with all of his workers. They all liked him, but they didn’t like his wife, Claudia. She treated them like slaves.
One day King Spaghetti and Claudia got in a huge fight over the workers. Sadly, but happily, they got divorced and that was the last of her, or so they thought… After that divorce, the whole kingdom was happy. Claudia had been taxing and stealing forever! King Spaghetti was also happy. Their parents had made them marry by force. The kingdom had a giant feast and everyone came. The chef tried a new thing called pea pia. Chef tried it and it tasted bitter and ugly. But for chef everything tasted good. He decided he would make his own, but he stayed at the feast a little longer.
Chef met a man who seemed friendly, nice, and calm. They talked for a while and chef said his name was Ezio and lots more. But once they had talked for a while, the man mentioned his lovely bride. Chef was fine with talking about those kinds of things, but then the man pointed to her, “Ah…there she is. I thought I had lost her.”
Chef looked closely. The woman was wearing a beautiful white dress with one rose on the heart, just like the one Claudia took with her in the divorce. Chef thought fairly long until he just gave up. Chef was sure that it was just some woman who had bought the same dress as Claudia. The man yelled at her and said to come meet chef. She walked over slowly. The closer she got, the more it started to look like Claudia. When she got to them, chef quickly said goodbye and walked away.
He knew it was her. The man yelled to him but he said he was late.
Then Claudia yelled, “Chef? Chef is that you?”
He turned around and walked back. She talked and said how the man changed her. She was actually nice? She was nice! They became friends and did fun things together. But in all this chef forgot about pea pia. The last place they went together was the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Claudia was scared because she was afraid of it tipping over.
Chef went home and tried to remember what he was going to do. Claudia came over to see what was going on. She remembered. He was going to make pea pia so she reminded him. They cooked together and made their own pea pia. They decided to call it pizza. Claudia tried it and said it was wonderful! That night they fell in love, but they could not mention it to King Spaghetti because they were afraid of breaking his heart. So they kept it a secret for a very long time.
Claudia divorced her husband for chef. One day chef and Claudia were cooking some pizza in the kitchen when they heard footsteps in the guard tower stairs. They thought it was just Leonardo, the guard, but they were wrong. The door opened. King Spaghetti came in and saw Claudia. He sighed and left. They thought they had made him very, very sad.
And if you really thought this was gonna be that sad, you’re wrong…but back to the story. As it turns out, Kind Spaghetti wasn’t sad. He didn’t even sigh. He yawned! King Spaghetti didn’t care about that.
He was happy for chef. Chef and Claudia made more and more pizza and sold it in stores all around Italy. Actually, all over the world. In 1994, chef and Claudia had a daughter. Claudia wanted her to have an American home. They named her Natalie. In 2000, Claudia and chef had gone to a new world and Natalie carried on the family tradition. She later married a nice man named Ezio.
