By Victoria Holmes
Its sparkling bright lights demand to see my eyes
Window after window, row after row
People young and old peering out through its square holes
At night the water mocks its beauty and splendor
Some windows open sharing their radiance,
Yet others stay shut keeping their glamour inside
Intervals between each shining light with a perfect pattern
Attention is wanted towards the middle, with its flawless frame and structure
And an entrance letting only charming men and lovely women enter through it
Its elegance exceeds its surroundings
The magnificence builds up curiosity about its other side
It stands alone, but it isn’t lonely.
