Grade 4
Chapter 1
One day I was walking home with my friends, Hannah, Kaden and Ryan. Just then we saw a magic door.
I said, “Let’s see what it says.”
Hannah said, “It says Lord of the Rings.”
Just then we fell in. We saw the bushes move. A mutant dog jumped on Kaden. Then, thump, an arrow went in the dog’s side.
We said, “Who did that? Come out.” An archer came out.
I said, “Did you save Kaden?”
He said, “Yes, and my name is Lasha.” He also said, “Come. This is my outpost.” Five days passed. He taught us archery. We went hunting and fishing. We heard a horn.
Chapter 2 Orc Slayer
Lasha said, “Orcs!” We all got out our bows. Orcs came running. Out pet dog growled.
I said, “Shhh!” We slayed Orcs and they attacked and attacked. Hundreds tried to kill us, thousands even.
Hannah said, “What are these?”
Lasha said, “They are Orcs, slaves of the king, Orc.”
We said, “Orcs?”
Lasha said, “Yes. Let’s go find The Legend of the Golden Griffon.”
We said, “Ok.”
Lasha, Kaden, Hannah and I went to find the Golden Griffon. Just then they found a cave with gold feathers jabbed in the rocks.
Lasha said, “The Golden Griffon is near.” Just then, gold wings popped u and shook the bushes. The Golden Griffon walked towards us. It was nice. It let us get on it and took us to Asguard. It was awesome. My face turned red.
“Asguard is a safe place. It is the place of the guardian slayers of dragons. My mom was one on the guardian team,” said Lasha. “She died. A cave crushed her.”
We said, “Wow. Are you a guardian?”
We said, “Dragon!”
“Did you like the story?” I said.
