Have you ever complained about your food or clothes? Lots of people around the world don’t have as much as we do. That’s why I believe we should help end world poverty.
There are hundreds of kids and families around the world who don’t have as much. A lot of people have to eat trash when we eat great food here. Can we really complain when they can’t get the nutrition they need? Tons of people don’t have safe drinking water, and they could get tapeworms. Many people don’t have clothes, and so they are very cold at night.
Also, they need God in their lives. A lot of people don’t have Jesus Christ in their lives. How are they going to go to heaven? They will not have the everlasting joy that comes from Jesus. John 3:16 says “God so loved the world that he sent his only Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus died for all of us, and they need to know that.
Next, they need health supplies so they won’t get sick and die. They need soap, if they don’t they could lose a limb. If they got bit by a mosquito they could get malaria and die. They need medicine to stay healthy. Over eleven million kids die because of malaria.
That’s why I believe we should help end world poverty. So let’s go do something like send a care box or money. Nothing means more to a child then knowing someone loves them.
