A day at the beach is all it took,
To make a memory book
With waves crashing
on the shore,
Our day was complete, I’m sure
With sand between our toes,
The burning feeling never goes
We left our towels on the beach,
As we took a swim in the sea
The big sea,
Was warm and salty
With salt burning my eyes,
I cleared them to take another look inside,
I left the sea,
To sit on the beach,
Listening to the seagulls,
I watched the kids playing
The people tanning,
Started to burn
Leaving me all alone.
