‘Cats appreciate community support

To the editor:
A second Class B State Championship title did not come by luck. Hard work and dedication paid off for our team. We could not have done it without the support we received throughout the season from our community. This support can only be found in Presque Isle, Maine.

Front row, from left: managers Amelia Sharp and Kali Warner, Liza Buck, Meredith Stewart, Megan Ireland, Chandler Guerrette, Karlee Bernier, Laurin Ackerson, Kayla Girardin and manager Kate McKenna.     We mean it when we say we have the greatest fans in the world. They feel the loss when we lose, and more importantly they feel the glory when we win.
Thank you for supporting our team once again. Our gold ball is a trophy not only representing our own hard work, but representing the love and support we, the Presque Isle Lady Wildcats, have received from our fans. Thank you!
