Sorority meets in PI
PRESQUE ISLE — Maine Masters Beta Sigma Phi Sorority met at the home of Dolores Hutchins March 21.
President Pam Palm led the meeting. Birthday wishes were expressed to Marcia Carroll and get well cards to Marie Flewelling and Marlene Kelley.
The Founders Day banquet, set for April 25, was discussed. A nomination committee for new two-year officers was formed, with installation of officers set for April 18.
Members brought Easter basket donations for children at the homeless shelter.
Girl of the year was voted on, happy dollars were shared and a 50-50 raffle was won by Betsy Fitzherbert. The next meeting will be held at the home of Jane Crouse April 18 at 7 p.m.
