Mary Lee, Wayne and Scott Belanger, owners of Pat’s Automotive in Caribou, gave a donation to the Veterans’ Memorial Park Association on Monday. Members of the Veterans’ Memorial Park Association were given a donation of $1,000 from the Lister Knowlton VFW Post No. 9389 in Caribou. Present for the donation were, from left, Park Association members Sheldon and Elaine Hafford, Cynthia Harvey, Doug Michaud, Phil McDonough, Caribou VFW Post Commander Linwod Lord, Park Association members Joel Theriault and Conrad Guerrette. The park, located on South Main Street in Caribou, is expected to be opened officially for the use of all area veterans on July 27, the 60th anniversary of the Korean War.
