    WOODLAND – Ann M. Measey, 65, passed away Thursday morning, June 6, 2013, at her Woodland residence following an extended illness. She was born October 21, 1947, in Atlantic City, NJ, the daughter of Sidney S. and Rachael R. (Hyman) Levin.
    Ann was a member of the Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church, New Sweden, a member of the Women’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Association, a member of the Caribou Choral Society and was a faithful member of Al-Anon. She had numerous relations on the east coast and had many friends.
    In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by one brother, Ivan Levin. She is survived by her companion, William T. Measey, Sr., of Woodland; two sons, Mark Walsh of Brunswick, GA, William T. “Bill” Measey Jr. of New Jersey; three daughters, Claire Polite of Camden, NJ, Michelle Walsh of NJ, Angela Measey of Mars Hill; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a special friend, Vivian Baker.
    In keeping with Ann’s wishes, there be will no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, those who chose may contribute in memory of Ann to C-A-N-C-E-R, P.O. Box 881, Presque Isle, ME 04769. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
