LUDLOW – Charlotte A. Reeves, 78, loving mother and grandmother, passed away June 5, at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 9, 1935, in Houlton, daughter of Cyril and Velma (Ewings) White.
Charlotte loved spending time with her family and friends, going on picnics, dancing, camping, traveling, playing cards and watching westerns. She had an amazing sense of humor and was always the life of the party. She enjoyed working at Travelers, Woolworth’s, Ames and Pizza Hut where she made many life long friends.
She is survived by her three sons, Randy Reeves and wife, Jeannie, of Ludlow, Terry Reeves and wife, Cathy, of Houlton, and Ricky Reeves and wife, Susie, of Rindge, NH; two daughters, Patty Cone of Houlton, and Peggy Botting and husband, Merle, of Houlton; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Merlin White and wife, Sonya, of Scar-borough; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her cat, Bear. She was predeceased by her husband, Otto Ralph Reeves Jr.; two sons, Gerald Ralph and Kenny Dean; daughter, Penny Austin; and special friend, Ed McQuarrie.
Friends called 1-2 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services were held 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Tuttle and Deacon Al Burleigh officiating.
