The Sherman area Senior Citizens Club meeting was called to order at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, with eight members present: Bonita Staples, Esta Greenier, Eva Perry, Donna Grass, Linniea Perry, Sandra Qualey, Paul Qualey and Annie Atkinson.
Get well cards were sent last meeting to Joe Kelly, Mariah Garnett, Fran Gorman, Dillon Stubbs Gantnier and Maxine Wallace; with a sympathy card sent to Maxine and Richard Bracket, and a “thinking of you” card sent to Skip Slauinwhite.
The food sale will be held on June 22 at the Bandstand in Sherman. They are not going to shut the gym down this year. The meeting was adjourned at 1:05 p.m. Members will be going to play Bingo.
