SMYRNA — Two Michigan men were arrested Friday after a routine car stop on Interstate 95 near Smyrna yielded 150 oxycodone tablets.
According to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Commander Peter Arno, Ricci Wafford, 32, of Farmington, Mich. and Eric Martin, 41, of Walled Lake, Mich. were arrested after the tablets were located inside their vehicle.

The estimated street value of the drugs was $12,000, Arno said. Based upon information gathered during the investigation, it is believed that these drugs were destined for distribution in the Aroostook County area.
“These arrests highlight the continued influence that out-of-state trafficking organizations are having on rural Maine,” Arno said.
Both men were transported to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton, where they remained Monday night. Bail was set at $5,000 cash for Wafford and $10,000 cash for Martin.
