On a bright, clear and cool day, the second Aroostook Riding Club Horse Show was held July 21 at the Hodgdon Show Arena.
The third and last Aroostook Riding Club show is scheduled for Aug. 11 in Hodgdon, weather permitting.
The Aroostook Riding Club added two new classes and divisions — two Draft Horse classes and an adult walk-trot division — to its already busy schedule. With nearly 70 classes, there is something for every level of rider from a Leadline division for younger children to Adult Equitation, a costume class to the timed games.
With a packed schedule, the turnout reflected the offerings as the show started at 9 a.m. and finished at 7:30 p.m., with a short lunch break inbetween.
Local business sponsor classes of their choice and everyone is welcome to come join the fun as either a participant or spectator.
