The Houlton Junior Knights will practice Monday, Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Houlton Southside School.
There has been a 100 percent return of players from seventh grade going into eighth. Coach Bill Alderson and assistant Mark Chapman are looking forward to working with the 26 players signed up, but they would like to see more youth join the program.
Even with a large number, each player will grow through practice to become more skilled and will see playing time.
The Junior Knights team is the continuance of a good football program.
