Market ready to cater your event
Country Farms Market opened its first store just over four years ago at 84 Center Rd. in Easton. A few years later, in 2012, the expansion was made to a second location with the purchase of a store at 1284 Main St. in Washburn.
“Both communities have been a great fit for starting up in the grocery store business,” said owner Mark Kelley.
He said serving the grocery needs of these communities gives him an opportunity to meet and get to know the citizens of each town. In an effort to expand on that service, Kelley is now exploring new opportunities for growth. He and his staff are focusing on their catering business. He said it’s important to keep small businesses alive locally. He’s pleased to be able to offer more services and continues to pursue new ideas — all with local needs in mind.
“Country Farms Market has catered events for reunions, anniversary parties, school functions, company annual picnics/parties and weddings,” noted Kelley.
Take the hassle out of planning for your special event by letting Kelley and his staff handle the meal details for you. You can select from a variety of dishes, then let them do all the rest.
The stores’ access to many distributors and local food suppliers has allowed Country Farms Market to offer a wide variety of options.
“Catering events include pizza parties, luncheons or full-course meals with salads, sides and main dish options,” explained Kelley.
Kelley said they are already starting to book into 2014 and are meeting with potential clients about upcoming events, so now is the perfect time to get your name on the list and book that special date for next year.
“It’s exciting to see this side of the business grow and thrive,” Kelley said.
