CARIBOU — The Caribou Fire Department will hold a ceremony to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack in New York City and Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
The service will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a posting of colors by the CFD Honor Guard and a veterans service. A moment of silence will be recognized at 8:46 a.m., the exact minute the first plane hit the World Trade Center back in 2001.
The ceremony will conclude with a playing of “Taps.”
