Mapleton residents living along Hanson Lake enjoy a gorgeous view this time of year, as seen above. Take Flight volunteers, pictured below, provided great “customer service” at the ticket counter for the scenic flights at the Northern Maine Regional Airport on Saturday. The event was one of many activities benefiting TAMC programs. Pictured from left are: volunteer Dustin Paine and interns Alysa Snow and Natalie St. Pierre — all with TAMC’s Development and Communications Office.

HANSON LAKE is ablaze with color, as fall foliage hits its peak — as seen from a plane landing at Northern Maine Regional Airport in Presque Isle on Saturday, Oct. 5. Pilot Gary Baer with the U.S. Border Patrol provided scenic flights during the Take Flight event. Passengers Carrie Maro and her 6-year-old daughter Mackenzie, of Ashland, enjoyed their flight, as did several others who took to the skies for a birds-eye view of the region.
