Weather permitting, the Houlton Water Company (HWC) has planned a power outage for our entire service territory beginning Friday evening at 11 p.m. Oct. 11 until 7 a.m. Saturday morning Oct. 12. The rain date will be Saturday evening Oct. 12 beginning at 11 p.m. and ending Sunday morning at 7 a.m.
The outage is necessary to repair damaged insulators at the Mullen Substation before cold weather arrives. All customers will be affected. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
