BLAINE — A two-story home at 55 Robinson Rd. was heavily damaged by fire the evening of Dec. 20.

According to Town Manager Chappy Clark, the house is listed as being owned by Tammy Pike.
The fire was reported shortly before 9 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters from the Mars Hill fire department found the home fully engulfed.
Two residents were transported to The Aroostook Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation. One of the individuals also reportedly sustained minor injuries when he fled the burning structure through a window.
Fire crews from Mars Hill and Bridgewater, which provided mutual aid, were on the scene until about 3 a.m. The house sustained heavy damage and is considered uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
