PISC plans weekend events
PRESQUE ISLE — Members of the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club are welcoming the plentiful snow, marking its arrival with two events planned this weekend.
On Friday, Jan. 3 at 6 p.m., Stew Night returns, hosted by FBLA at the clubhouse located just north of the Aroostook State Park entrance.
Stew nights are held every Friday during the riding season. Local organizations host the event and money raised goes to support that group.
On Sunday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m., a chili and hotdog roast will be held at the clubhouse.
This event is sponsored by the board and is a social event for people to bring their family and friends for an afternoon meal and activities. You can ride or drive to the event. For more information, to join the club or to RSVP, visit the club’s Facebook page or call 554-6020.
