In preparation for the second annual Aaron Henderson Memorial Softball Tournament, a raffle is under way to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project in Henderson’s honor.
The softball tournament is scheduled for the weekend of June 13 in Houlton.
The sponsor for this year’s softball tournament is Waterfront concerts in Bangor. They have supplied the winner of the drawing with a coupon for two concerts of the winner’s choice for 2014.
Last year, the event raised $3,300 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Organizers are hoping to raise more money this year for the worthwhile project, as a way of continuing to honor a friend.
Coupons will be available now until April 1 at MACS Trading Post on North Street.
