9 p.m Full Moon Snowshoe Hike
Military Street Baptist Church is having a guided snowshoe hike on the hill. Come and enjoy nature’s beauty under the moonlight.
All weekend at the church snowshoe trails will be open for use. Trail maps are posted and flagged. Begin at the Moose and enjoy!
Outdoor skating rink will be open all weekend. Skaters please park near the Adopt-A-Block Building.
Saturday, Feb. 15
6-10 a.m. Meduxnekeag Ramblers’ Special Breakfast
With all of the fun and activity planned for you, you must consume delicious calories to make it through the day! Snow sledding, cross-country skiing and playing in the Moosestomper Games will require you to be well fed and this breakfast is the best way to start! Where is it you ask? Head on up to the Meduxnekeag Ramblers Snowsled Club on the Wiley Road in Littleton by sled, car, walk, run or fly if you have to, but do get there! A feast awaits you! $6 for adults and $2 for children under 12. The cooks are the best and the friendly atmosphere is a bonus. Buy your ticket for the ever popular 50/50 drawing.
Menu includes baked ham, baked beans, homemade donuts and muffins, special pastries, bacon, eggs with all the fixings and coffee too!
6 a.m. Registration for the Moosestompers Ice Fishing Derby
Peg’s Place (the former Linneus Convenience Store)
Pre-Registration is available at Peg’s Place on Friday until 6 p.m. When you purchase a ticket you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 3 prizes worth over $1,500. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20.
We have a 1st and 2nd place for trout, togue, pickerel and perch. We also have a category for kids with biggest fish. The weigh station will be at Peg’s Place.
All fish must be weighed in on Saturday by 5 p.m. and no later than 3 pm on Sunday. In the event of a tie on the weight of two fish, measurement will be used to determine the winner. The lakes that are allowed to be fished in are Drews, and Nickerson Lakes and Mill Pond only.

ALL DAY – Family Snowman Sculpting Contest

Kids, get Mom and Dad, your brother and sisters, even Gram and Gramps out to build the wildest, craziest, funniest or most traditional snowman you can imagine.
There are no rules other than having family fun and building a snowman for everyone to admire and judge! 1st and 2nd prizes will be awarded for the most creative snowman.
Pick a spot at the corner of the parking lot and make Frosty proud! Signs will show you where to build!
Judging will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Registration is from 6-9 a.m. during the breakfast at the Club House. Maps will be available. Poker Run course will be announced at breakfast, where you will pick up your first card. Don’t miss out on an excellent ride because the trails are expertly groomed and the atmosphere is filled with fun! $7 per/hand or two hands for $10. Riding in Friday night’s Moosestompers Parade in Community Park will gain you and extra card! Enjoy – Please follow the signs and be safe!

This free admission event will feature local farmers and artisans from our community and beyond. A wonderful selection of items from food to handmade items that are amazingly unique.
The event was wildly successful last year and we expect the same this year!

Join them for a YAMAHA demo ride! Try out a brand new 2014 Yamaha snowsled on a 3 mile course ride! Drivers must be 18 years of age and present a valid drivers license. Helmets are also required.
10:45 am 30th annual 5K Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run
Walk begins at 10:45 a.m. and run starts at 11 a.m.
First run in the Aroostook Musterds County Challenge Series. Registration from 9:30-10:35 a.m. in the Millar Civic Center’s function room on the 2nd floor. Fee is $12 with a pair of Musterd mittens for the first 50 registered participants. The course starts and finishes at the Millar Civic Center’s front entrance. An adult guardian must accompany children under 10 years of age.
Categories: 5K Run; 14 and under; 5-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over.
Proceeds benefit the local Maine Army National Guard Family Readiness Support Group. Refreshments available after the Run/Walk.
The awards ceremony will be held at 11:45 am. Which will include Run ~ 1st Place for each age category; Walk~ first 3 walkers; Special Awards; “MEAN” Runner and “GUTS” Award; 1st Place ~ 3 – member male and female running teams.
