MORO – Frank C. Carpenter, Sr., 81, died Feb. 11, 2014, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1932, at Moro, the son of Charles S. and Flora L. (Brackett) Carpenter.
Frank served in U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked many years as an automotive mechanic.
He is survived by his son, Frank C. Carpenter, Jr. of Moro; his daughter, Cheryl Brewster of Houlton; four grandchildren, Roy D. Sanders, Natasha L. Rossini, Savannah A. Botting and Stephanie L. Ivey; one great-granddaughter, Natalia R. Rossini; his brother, Richard D. Carpenter and his wife, Ada, of Limestone. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Rita Murphy.
Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service 1 p.m. with Rev. Sterling Lawrence officiating. Spring interment will be in the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery.
