CARY PLANTATION – Linda L. Ingraham, 70, was welcomed home into her beloved Lord and Savior’s arms Feb. 12, 2014, after a long illness, surrounded with a bounty of love with her family beside her. She was born August 19, 1943 at Houlton, the daughter of Clayton and Bessie (Edwards) Putnam.
Linda overcame many hurdles and fought her illness with determination. She survived more years than ever expected through the care and love of her hero and husband, Charles Ingraham.
Linda leaves behind her three children, Brian Ingraham and his friend, Sarah Walton of Carmel, Barry Ingraham and his wife, Jana, of Washburn, Stacey Ingraham Bubar and her husband, Bryan, of New Limerick; seven grandchildren, Taylor Merritt, Gage and Delaney Bubar, Jenica and Jayden Harris, Sierra and Jenesa Ingraham; her brother, Orrin Putnam and his wife, Lori; her aunt, Catherine Putnam; very special friends, Susan Nason and Sandra Plourde, among many more close friends through the years; many cousins, nieces and nephews; a special co-worker and recent caregiver, Judy Russell; many co-workers and friends from Madigan Estates.
At Linda’s request, there will be no services at this time. Interment is planned for summer.
