     MCPHERSON, Dapheen Marie, 71, PRESQUE ISLE, February 23, 2014. Interment will be at the Fairmont Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Faye Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Dapheen Marie McPherson, 71, passed away on February 23, 2014, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Presque Isle on May 23, 1942, the daughter of the late Ervin A. Sr. and Amy A. (Hafford) Brown.
    Mrs. McPherson enjoyed singing in a band at nursing homes, eating spaghetti and spending time with her family. Her biggest joy in her life was her children and her grandchildren; she loved them dearly.
    She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Bonato and husband, David Pelkey of Presque Isle, Debra McPherson and friend, Donny Michaud of Presque Isle, Melinda Frisco and husband, Mike of Wallingford, CT; one son, Dick Bonato and wife, Denise of Presque Isle; grandchildren: Amy Pelkey Robbins and husband, Benjamin Robbins, Katrina, Maxx and Kevin Frisco, Hanford McPherson, James Kinney, Jeremiah Lowe and Storm Bonato; great-grandchildren: Alyssa Pelkey and Talon McPherson; and also her ex-husband, Merle McPherson. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Iris Brown; nephew, Donald Lagasse; and a special niece, Gail McNearny.
    She was predeceased by her son, Hanford McPherson and also a grandson, David Pelkey.
    Friends called at the Faye Funeral Home at the corner of Academy Street and Centerline Road, Presque Isle, Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home.
