CARIBOU – Linwood G. Moody, 66, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, February 19, 2014, at his home. He was born June 4, 1947, in Skowhegan, the son of Gerald and Muriel (Maguire) Moody.
He was a graduate of South Lancaster Academy, MA, where he met and married Doreen J. (Johnson) Moody on June 11, 1967. He was a jack of all trades. He spent many years long-haul trucking, crop and cattle farming, doing custom carpentry and remodeling, and was involved with many other enterprises.
Linwood is survived by his beloved wife, Doreen and his mother, Muriel. He was so proud of his four children and their families: Randy and Dot of Old Town, Crystal and Kevin of Presque Isle, Seth and Sara of Eddington, Kellie of Gorham, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: James of Skowhegan, Charles and wife, Kathy of Cornville, and Elinor of Norridgewock, as well as many nieces and nephews.
