    GILDERT, Steven Wayne, 62, Wade, February 20, 2014. Spring interment will be at Crouseville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

     WADE – Steven Wayne Gildert, 62, passed away with his wife at his side on Thursday morning February 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born on January 8, 1952 in Worcester, MA, the son of Cecil Gildert and Paulyne (Walton) Willette. 
    He served in the U. S. Navy. Steven worked as a boiler operator at Fraser Timber in Masardis for a number of years. He was an avid Red Sox fan and a devoted husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family.
    He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Carman) Gildert of Wade; a son, Joshua of Medford, MA; a daughter, Cassie of Malden, MA; three brothers: Gene Gildert, Michael Gildert, and Dennis Willette; a sister, Carol Finnemore; three step-brothers: Lenwood Jr., Peter and Donny Willette; his father-in-law, Herman Carman of Wade; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil Gildert, Lenwood and Paulyne Willette; and his mother-in-law, Della Carman.
    Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle with Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Friends called 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Crouseville Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to CANCER, P.O. Box 811, Presque Isle ME 04769.
