CHANDLER, Sylvia Jane, 61, WASHBURN, February 20, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. March 2, at the Christian Life Assembly, Presque lsle. Arrangements are in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
WASHBURN – Sylvia Jane Chandler, 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Sylvia was born in Presque lsle on May 12, 1952, the daughter of George and Verla (Bull) Conley.
She married the love of her life, Robert Chandler, on July 4, 1972. They have one daughter, Terri Tozier, who was Sylvia’s pride and joy. She is loved by many and known for her kind, gentle spirit and for always having a smile for everyone. She had a strong faith in God and lived her life accordingly.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Chandler of Washburn; her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Brian Tozier of Washburn; step-daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and David Keith of Indianapolis, lN; her grandchildren, Nicholle, Rebekah, Michaela and Chandler Tozier of Washburn, David Jr., Elizabeth and Timothy Keith of Indianapolis, lN, Hannah McGonnaughey and her husband, Anthony of Great Falls, MT; her sister, Gail Gallagher of Gulfport, FL; her brother David Conley and his wife, Cathy of Washburn; her brother, Hershel Conley and his wife, Nancy of Caribou; her brother, Paul Conley and his wife, Orlette of Flat Rock, NC; her sister, Barbara Eubanks of Wartburg,TN; her sister, Corinne Trombley and her partner, Carl Ouellette of Woodland; Mark Conley and his partner, Vicky Violette of Washburn; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and mother, George and Verla Conley; a sister, Elaine Conley; and several aunts and uncles.
