The Mars Hill and Blaine Winterfest will take place March 7-9. Friday will kick off with basketball games from 4-6 p.m. between Mars Hill and Easton first and second graders.
The Rotary turkey dinner will be served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at a cost of $7 pre-sold or $8 at the door. At 7 p.m., the Mars Hill Community Players will present “Groovin’ Thru the ‘60s” at the Rec Center. It will be a $5 admission charge.
Saturday will start off with the St. Patrick’s Day breakfast from 6-9 a.m. Cost is $5 per plate. A bake sale will be held in the CAHS lobby from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Happenings at the high school on Saturday include a Penny Carnival ($5), Cake Walk ($1 per play), Shrine Klowns, hotdogs and baked potatoes, Cribbage Tournament at 9:30 a.m. ($5 entry), Lucky Leprechaun 5K at Fort Street ($5 individual or $20 family), helicopter rides ($40) and BINGO from noon to 2:30 p.m.
Events will continue at Big Rock with night skiing, pork tenderloin dinner ($12), snowshoe hike, live music, fire twirling and fireworks.
“Groovin’ Thru the ‘60s” will be performed on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday will see a Breakfast Buffet at Big Rock from 8-10 a.m. ($10) and Big Rock Invitational Youth Ski Race at 10 a.m.

Sunday will feature Sunday Services with Jonathan at 1:30 p.m. Monday will feature Nail Beautiful at 10 a.m. Catholic Mass at 1:30 p.m. and Gospel Group at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday will feature the Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Card Games at 1:30 p.m. All of these activities are subject to change. Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Feb. 18 at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center. The speaker was Rotarian Steve Cheney. He gave a report on this year’s golf tournament that will take place on June 28-29. It will be the 12th annual tournament.
BINGO
The William Cousins Post 118 of the American Legion in Mars Hill hosts a Bingo Night every Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Legion building on Silver Street, with cash prizes and concessions.
