HOULTON, Maine — It was a day of intense excitement and thrills at the local 2014 Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Championship.
After several heats and some tough competition, first place went to Dylan Dangerfield. Drew Duttweiler grabbed second place and Owen Bolstridge came in at a very close third.
A special honor went to Stewart Michaud for Best In Show. All of the boys deserved a round of applause for their hard work and more importantly their good sportsmanship.
The derby is just one of the many fun activities done in Boy Scouts.
The group meets every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Houlton. New members are welcome.
