Electrical service in a section of Presque Isle and East Chapman will be interrupted Wednesday morning.
“Emera Maine crews are planning to conduct maintenance to the electrical system on May 7. The area affected is the intersection of State Park Road and the Spragueville Road to the East Chapman Road, the intersection of the Niles Road to the end of the line, and the James and Lathrop roads,” said Bob Potts, Emera spokesperson.
Work will take place between 8 and 9 a.m.
“This is a necessary interruption to enable an upgrade of our system to be completed in the safest possible manner. Customers report outages or ask questions by calling our Customer Service Center at 973-2020 or 855-EMERA11 (363-7211),” said Potts.
Rain date will be Thursday, May 8.
