The Houlton tennis teams met two northern opponents last week in Presque Isle and Caribou.
No score has been turned in for the Presque Isle meet held last Friday in Houlton.
Last Wednesday, the Caribou Vikings overtook the Houlton boys tennis team, 3-2.
In singles: Brendan Cyr (C) def. Lucas Grant (H) 8-2; Michael Marquis (C) def. Ethan Nickerson (H) 8-0 and Josh Sullivan (H) def. Ethan Plourde (C) 8-2. In doubles: Austin Scott/Austin Cheplic (C) topped Robby Woods/Steven Phillips (H) 8-4 and Christian Crane/Dakota Gramour (H) overtook Dustin Coty/Dylan Coty (C) 8-0.
In girl’s action, Caribou defeated Houlton, 4-1.
Houlton’s lone win came in doubles as Janelle Levesque/June Choi (H) edged Taylor Belanger/Brittany Dickinson 8-6.
In singles: Erin Patton (C) def. Tessa Winship 8-0; Makayla Bouchard (Car) def. Caleigh Sullivan 8-2 and Clara Collins (C) def. Piper Flewelling 8-2.
In doubles: Bria Judd/Conner Spencer (C) def. Sarah Delano/Emily Mooers 8-3.
The Houlton tennis teams were scheduled to play their last match in Van Buren yesterday.
