Caribou Little League will host its ninth annual Invitational Little League Baseball Tournament this weekend.
Fourteen teams from as far away as Bar Harbor will make the trip to participate in either the 9/10 year-old division or 11/12 year-old division.
The tourney kicks off Friday with games played on both the Robert P. White Field and Rotary Field at Hilltop School in Caribou. The event continues on Saturday and Sunday on those two fields as well as the Teague Park field.
Saturday evening will feature a screening of the movie “The Sandlot” on the White Field at 9 p.m. The movie will be free, and the public is invited.
