Crandall, Bruce W., 65, August 12, 2014.  Interment was held in the Oakfield Cemetery.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home.

 OAKFIELD – Bruce W. Crandall, 65, passed away at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his family on August 12.  He was born October 18, 1948 in Houlton, the son of Colby and Jean Crandall.
    Graduated Oakfield High School in 1966 and from NMVTI twice. He taught school at Sacopee Valley High School and then taught welding at Katahdin High School for 35 years. He was an avid horse lover and was never without a horse in his barn. His true passion was his family.
    He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marla (Belyea) Crandall and sons, Colby and Shannon Crandall, Eric Crandall and his friend, Rick Nelson and Gudren Presley; daughter, Rachel and Travis Desrosier; grandchildren, Zachary and Devin Mcallian, Alyssa and Kasey Crandall, Samantha and Caleb Desrosier; brother, Carroll and Jerri Crandall; sister, Lori and Johnny Nadeau; In-laws, William and Gladys Belyea; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Becky & Bob Crooker, Ruth & Wayne Drake, Sally & Tom Thibeau, Buz & Sue Belyea, David Belyea & Jen Foss; several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; special family friends, Cathy & Arthur Briggs, Willis & Priscilla Green and Jeff Chambers. He was predeceased by his parents and his great-nephew, Turner Lawlor.
    Friends called 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 14th at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton where funeral services were held.  Interment was in the Oakfield Cemetery.  For an online memory book and to leave condolences please visit www.bowersfuneral.com
