LITTLETON – Jerome Clifford DeLong, 65, went to be with his Lord August 15, 2014. He was born August 12, 1949 in Houlton, the son of Russell W. and Leona (Porter) DeLong.
Jerome was a graduate of Central Aroostook High School, Mars Hill. He attended NMVTI where he learned his trade as an electrician, working his entire adult life in The County. Jerome was an active member of the Lake Road Free Will Baptist Church and the Monticello Fish and Game Club.
Jerome is survived by his mother, Leona, of Bridgewater; two sons, Lucas DeLong and his wife Sarah of Pittsfield and Jonas DeLong of Gardiner; two brothers, Dennis DeLong and his wife Le of Alabama, and Brian DeLong and his wife Debbie of Presque Isle; five sisters, Susan and Julie DeLong of Monticello, Ann Kusiak of Connecticut, Diane and Jill DeLong of Bridgewater; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, and siblings Darla, Steven, Mark, and Karen.
Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Monday, August 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services were held at the Lake Road Free Will Baptist Church Tuesday, August 19th at 1:00 PM with Pastor Carl DeMerchant officiating. Interment was at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater. Reception followed at the church.
