     WALTON, Loretta M., 91, PRESQUE ISLE, at Madawaska, August 15, 2014. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, August 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Loretta M. Walton, 91 years old,  passedaway peacefully of natural causes Friday, August 15, 2014, at High View Manor in Madawaska. She was born in Ashland on January 15, 1923, the daughter of George and Mary (Morrow) Michaud.
    Loretta was a loving wife, mother, friend and a devout Catholic with unwavering faith in God. She volunteered many hours, days and years at the church, with  a kind heart and a natural devotion caring for those in need. Her unconditional love for her family shined through with her humor and contagious smile.
    Loretta and Floyd raised their children with one simple rule, ” do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
    Loretta was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Floyd B. Walton; son, Michael A. Walton; parents, George and Mary Michaud; and all her siblings, brothers: Fred, George, Leonard, Louis, Larry, Thomas, Simon, and one very special sister, Annie.
    Loretta is survived by two sons, Floyd S. Walton Jr. of Presque Isle, and Lee Walton and his wife, Kathy of Clovis, California; two daughters, Brenda M. Antworth of Presque Isle, and Kathy J. Kinney  and husband, Frank of Clovis, California; daughter-in-law, Jayne (Peterson) Walton of Spring, TX; nine grandchildren: Keith, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, Evan, Logan, Raygan, Ryan and Cody; four great-grandchildren: Michael, Kayla, Mason and Kylee; many nieces and nephews.
    A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Main St., Presque Isle, with Rev. Kyle Doustou celebrant. Friends may call 10 a.m., until time of Mass at the church. Interment will be in Johnson Cemetery, Presque Isle. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle or High View Manor, 517 Riverview St., Madawaska, ME 04756. Online condolences may be shared at www.duncan-graves.com.
    Special thanks: Loretta spent her last years at High View Manor in Madawaska. She was cared for by a staff filled with love and admiration for her. Our family could not have wished for a more devoted loving group of people to care for our mother.
