      PELLETIER, Maria (Mickey), 87, SEBASTIAN, FL & PRESQUE ISLE, ME, at Sebastian, FL, August 13, 2014. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL, on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.

    SEBASTIAN, FL & PRESQUE ISLE, ME – Maria (Mickey) Pelletier, 87, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at her home in Sebastian, FL. She was born on December 6, 1926, in Antwerp, Belgium, the daughter of Luedevicious and Sophia Herlé.
    She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Victor Pelletier of Sebastian, FL.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Paula Dams.
    She was owner and instructor of Mickey’s School of Dance in Presque Isle for many years. She lived in Presque Isle until her husband’s retirement when they moved to Sebastian, FL, and would return to Presque Isle to spend summers for a number of years.
    Mickey enjoyed playing bridge and had been a member of the Presque Isle Country Club bridge group. Other interests included knitting, crocheting, crafts, gardening, golf and getting together with family and friends. She was a member of the Ladies Guild of Saint Sebastian Catholic Church. Each year, she donated her time and talents by doing beautiful handwork for the annual church bazaar. She was a member of the Sebastian Women’s Club (a charity group) where she was the director of arts and crafts for their fund raising.
    A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL, on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.
