marks 25th year in business
From emergency towing to fixing your brakes, Jerry’s Auto & Cycle strives to please its customers.
Located at 78 Houlton Road in Presque Isle, Jerry’s is celebrating its 25th year in business.
“When I first started, it was just towing,” says owner Jerry Palmer, “but over the years it’s grown to include automotive repairs, painting, auto body repairs, motorcycle sales and pre-owned car and truck sales.”
Jerry’s is the only towing service in Presque Isle contracted with both AAA and Allstate. They service other roadside assistance programs, as well.
“We have two car carriers, a wrecker, and a service truck,” Palmer adds. “We’re here 24/7/365 and we respond quickly.”
Jerry’s has a complete, full-service body shop that provides restoration services, glass replacement, collision repair, and refinishing.
“We also sell new and pre-owned motorcycles,” Palmer points out. “We are the only Hyosung dealer in the state of Maine, and we added that brand in 2010.”
Palmer’s secret to business success? “A good ear. Listen to what your customers have to say,” Palmer suggests. “Get them back on the road — promptly and at a fair price. That creates satisfied customers and satisfied customers are loyal customers. And for all of the loyal customers we’ve had these past 25 years, my staff and I are truly grateful.”
Jerry’s Auto & Cycle is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. During the summertime, they’ll even schedule evening appointments if it’s more convenient for their customer. Jerry’s phone number is 764-4121. The email is jerryscycles@live.com.
