Customer feedback welcome at Country North Gifts

Sometimes finding the right gift can be hard nowadays, but that doesn’t have to be the case thanks to the crew at Country North Gifts.
Country North Gifts, one of Market Square’s long-standing shops, has been helping customers find the perfect gift for over 20 years. Richard and Robin Crone bought the business from Lois Bates and Gail Scovill in 2013 and have completely remodeled the store, added several new product lines and are expanding into the former York’s Book.
“We try to keep our prices reasonable and there is something for everyone,” said Robin.
Country North Gifts credits strong customer service and great customers for their business success.
“I have to say that in the time we have had the store, working with customers has been my favorite part of the job. We have awesome customers who are great to work with, and we are very thankful for that,” said Robin.
“We pride ourselves on our friendly, courteous service. We do feel that it is imperative to meet the needs of our customers in a manner that is accommodating,” she added. “We are a small, locally-owned business, and we depend on and appreciate the support of local people. We try and listen to our customers in regard to the type of merchandise they like and welcome feedback. We also have a great group of reps that we work with who help us bring in new merchandise.”
Country North is expanding their jewelry section and are bringing in new products.
Some of the product lines that Country North currently sells are: Yankee Candle, Donna Sharp purses, Kameleon Jewelry, Stonewall Kitchen, Crabtree & Evelyn, Sweet Grass Farms, Park Design, Silver Forest Jewelry, Elegant Baby, Robeez, Willow Tree Angels, Clay in Motion, various Maine Products and many more.
To make getting a gift for someone easier the store offers free gift wrapping.
“Our customers appreciate the fact that we offer free wrapping, so their gift is ready to deliver once they walk out the door!,” Robin said.
