WOODLAND – Gloria J. Finnemore, 66, died December 16, 2014, at Caribou following a brief illness. She was born in Woodland on March 8, 1948, the daughter of the late Stanley and Louise (Nadeau) Barnum.
Mrs. Finnemore was a 1967 graduate of Caribou High School and on August 22, 1967, she married Frederick Finnemore. Gloria was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland and was also a member of the Aroostook Valley ATV Club.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Frederick of Woodland, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mike Lizotte of Appomattox, VA, and Lynda and Jay Gustafson of Woodland; one son, and daughter-in-law, David and Stephanie Finnemore of Topeka, KS; two sisters, Marion Flanagin and her husband, Sid of Casco and Elizabeth Short of Sumter, SC; her grandchildren, Miranda and Cameron Lizotte of Appomattox, VA, Derek Fox of Norfolk, VA, Jared Fox of Woodland, and Matthew and Elizabeth Finnemore, both of Topeka, KS; several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home at 12 noon Sunday, December 21, 2014, until time of services, which were held at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser, officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery. www.mockler funeralhome.com.
