The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department hosted its second annual Adult Dodgeball Tournament and fundraiser Saturday.

Nine teams came out to participate and have a great time in this year’s fundraiser. Teams participating were Calvary, Rec Rats, High Flyers, County Boys, Up 4 Whatever, Gym Class Heroes, Caribou Fire, Ski-Ski and Pipe Layers.
The event included all nine teams playing each other in a round robin format to gain points and be seeded into a double elimination tournament for the chance to bring home cash awards. First place winners received a cash prize of $160 and second place brought home $100.
The High Flyers entered the tournament as first seed, but were unable to follow through and win the tournament. The fourth-seeded Pipe Layers went undefeated in the tournament, beating second-seeded Up 4 Whatever in the championship game.
According to Director of Recreation Matt Bouchard, proceeds from the tournament will go toward the rec center’s youth programming as well as the purchase of new uniforms for their traveling youth basketball teams.
