LIMESTONE, Maine — The Viking swim team swept Presque Isle in a Saturday competition at the Limestone Community School pool.
Washington Academy of East Machias was slated to compete, but a snowstorm prevented the team from venturing north.
For the Caribou girls, Maddy Yakel won the 50 free, Kyra Thibault the 200 free, Olivia Engstrom the 500 free and Courtney Cote the 100 back. Two Viking relay teams also prevailed.
For boys, Austin Scott won the 200 IM and the 500 free, while Dominic Judd took the 100 fly and Stewart Curtis the 100 back.
The final local meet of the season will be held Monday at UMPI’s Gentile Hall at 4 p.m.
