ASHLAND – Norman J. Martin, 88, died August 26, 2015. He was born April 4, 927, the son of Joseph P. Martin and Modeste Bouchard Martin. He was an Army Veteran, Korea. He was an electrician by trade. He enjoyed the sportsman life of hunting and fishing the North Maine Woodlands and traveling to Nevada. He was a beloved husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Olean G. Theriault Martin; daughters, Nancy Martin Burby of Portage Lake, Cathy Martin Carney of Pahrump, NV, and Margaret Martin Levesque of Mars Hill; step-daughter, Ann Storey Weaver of Warwick, RI; sisters, Blanche Lajoy of Henderson Harbor, NY, and Rolande Woodward of Charleston, WV; brother, Paul Martin of Kokomo, IN; step-brother, Lindwood Doak of Windsor Locks, CT; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Steven Carl Martin, Army Veteran, Vietnam, of Portland, ME; sister, Lottie Blanchette of Eagle Lake, ME, and Theresa Martin of Kokomo, IN; brothers, Harold Martin and Reginald Martin, both of Washburn, ME; and Albert Martin of Houlton, ME.
