On Sept. 21, the weight group called the Happy Losers held their weekly meeting at the United Baptist Church vestry in Island Falls.
Jackie Pratt, the leader, opened the meeting and welcomed members, followed by the pledge and roll call.
Ten members weighed in and eight attended the meeting. Loretta Bouchard was the loser of the week, and Kay Giles was runner-up. Great job, ladies.
Reports were given by the secretary and treasurer for the week.
The leader led the program for the week. Her topic was “Stress-free Weight Loss.
New members are always welcome into our group. For more information call 365-4884. Weigh-in is from 8-8:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and the meeting usually starts at 8:30 a.m.
