Kart series opens at Caribou race track

CARIBOU, Maine — Three divisions competed in the Friday Night Karting Series, which began its season Friday, June 2, at Spud Speedway.

In the Kids Kart division, Parker Bosse of Limestone beat out Kayden Haines of Caribou for first place.

Gage Theriault of Limestone took the checkered flag in the junior cage division, with Presque Isle drivers Bryan Searles and Ronnie Lynn Kelly finishing second and third, respectively.

In the senior cage category, Damian Theriault of Caribou rode to victory, with Jason Theriault and Marcel Bosse, both of Caribou, following.

The next races are set for June 9 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Pit admission is $10 and there is no charge for seats in the grandstand area.
