FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — The 3-on-3 basketball tournament kicked off the sports portion of the Maine Potato Blossom Festival and a team comprised of Fort Fairfield residents took the title.
The team of Anthony Chacho, Isaac Cyr, Austin Dufour, Andrew Forsman and Doug Sharpe captured first place in the event, which was held Tuesday, July 11. Five teams participated in the double-elimination tourney.
Tyler Brooks, Scott DeLong, Allen Jones and Justin Porch, all of Presque Isle, placed second.
