The Ashland, Central Aroostook and Hodgdon golf teams will battle for Aroostook County supremacy Wednesday in the league championships being played at Portage Hills Country Club beginning at 9 a.m.

The team recording the low gross score in the 18-hole event qualifies for the Class C team state tourney at Natanis Golf Club in Vassalboro next month.

Boys scoring 90 or better and girls scoring 100 or better will move on to the individual state tourney, also at Natanis in October.
