The Mars Hill Rotary Club met Jan. 8 at the Aroostook Health Center.  The guest speaker was Paul Towle with Aroostook Partnership.

AP is a private/public partnership engaging the private sector leadership, talents and resources in the region to ensure the economic survival and growth of Aroostook County.

They have three priorities: workforce development, to support and grow existing businesses and legislative engagement.

They are working to retain our youth and attract working-age natives back to The County as well as attract new workers using various marketing ideas.  They will communicate the advantages of the county, which are many and include great schools, low-cost housing, a low crime rate, exceptional outdoor activities and much more.
