GREENSBORO, North Carolina — The University of Maine at Presque Isle baseball team got outside for the first time Sunday, March 17, in North Carolina for a practice before their opening doubleheader at Greensboro College.

UMPI bounced back with two runs of their own in the top of the third inning when Braydon Kennedy (Freshman. Titusville, Florida) walked, moved to second when Richard Coulston (Freshman. Bullhead City, Arizona) reached on an error and scored on an RBI groundout by Jordan Hanscom (Sophomore, Lincoln). Coulston scored the Owls second run of the inning on an RBI single by Justin Mason (Senior, Stamford, Connecticut).

In the second game of the doubleheader, Greensboro picked up right where it left off, scoring early and often on the way to a 16-5 win over the Owls.
